A stunning individual performance in a winning effort allowed Giorgos Papagiannis of Panathinaikos to earn Round 34 MVP honors with a performance index rating of 31.
Papagiannis led the “Greens” to a 59-62 road victory against Fenerbahce. He finished the game with 14 points, on 6-for-8 two-point and 2-of-2 free-throw shooting, adding 12 rebounds, an assist, 3 steals and 4 blocks to amass a PIR of 31.
Already-eliminated Panathinaikos improved to 9-19 in the EuroLeague standings and claimed the 13th place in the regular season finale.
