Panathinaikos announces signing of EuroCup star Andrew Andrews

Panathinaikos has officially signed Eurocup star Andrew Andrews for the next two seasons, the club announced Saturday. The University of Washington alumni became the primary scorer of the EuroCup sensation Bursaspor.
He averaged 14.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 20 EuroCup contests. Bursaspor reached the EuroCup final but loss to Virtus Bologna last May. Andrews came from Washington back in 2016 and immediately made an impact with Balikesir.
The 1.88-meter combo guard established his name in Europe while playing for Darussafaka Istanbul throughout the 2020-21 season. He averaged 18.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in the Basketball Champions League.
After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, Andrews played for Delaware 87ers in G League, VEF Riga, Hapoel Afula and Buyukcekmece. Andrews will complete the Panathinaikos’ guard rotation alongside Paris Lee, Nate Wolters and Panagiotis Kalaitzakis.
