Olympiacos, Moustapha Fall close to agreement on contract extension, per report

Moustapha Fall is expected to remain with Olympiacos on a multiyear deal. The news were first reported by Donatas Urbonas of Basketnews.com.

Fall will sign a contract extension until 2025. It will include an NBA-out, as the French center wants to test himself in the other side of the Atlantic.

Fall joined Olympiacos in the summer of 2021, signing a two-year deal. He is an important factor in Olympiacos’ success this year.

The ‘Reds’ are among the Top-5 teams in the EuroLeague with a 14-9 record. Fall is averaging 8.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.0 block in 23 EuroLeague games.

He helped Olympiacos win its first title of the season Sunday as the ‘Reds’ downed Panathinaikos in the Greek Cup Final. The team won its first domestic Cup since 2011.

Fall had seven points and six rebounds Sunday, playing his role perfectly to help his team to the victory.

Olympiacos is on a two-game winning streak in the EuroLeague. The Greek team will face Armani Milano for Round 27 of the competition Thursday night.
