Olympiacos finalizing deal with Isaiah Canaan

Olympiacos is finalizing a deal with American guard Isaiah Canaan and the official announcement is expected soon.

Canaan, who spent the previous season with UNICS Kazan and Galatasaray, will replace star guard Tyler Dorsey, who will most likely move to the NBA and sign with the Dallas Mavericks.

The 31-year-old guard averaged 11.8 points in the EuroLeague last season, on 41% from beyond the arc.

Following the signing of Isaiah Canaan, Olympiacos is expected to land another two players in Alec Peters and Kostas Antetokounmpo. On Wednesday, the “Reds” announced the addition of big man Joel Bolomboy.
