After helping Olympiacos win its first Greek League title since 2016, team captain Giorgos Printezis announced his retirement.
After 20 years as a professional, Printezis wrapped up his illustrious career, while receiving a standing ovation from Olympiacos fans.
The 37-year-old big man spent 17 seasons with the “Reds” and won the EuroLeague title twice (2012, 2013). His iconic shot at the buzzer in the 2012 Championship Game vs CSKA Moscow handed his team the trophy after 15 years.
