Olimpia Milan parting ways with Troy Daniels

Olimpia Milan announced another departure as Troy Daniels has left the team after spending a year with the Italian powerhouse. Daniels helped the team win both the Italian Cup and the Italian league championship.

The American guard averaged 5.5 points and 0.8 rebounds, shooting 39 percent from beyond the arc in 26 EuroLeague games. He had more time to show his talent in LBA with averages of 8.1 points and 1.1 rebounds.

Along with the Italian giants, Daniels won the LBA league against Virtus this past season. Milan has already announced the signings of Brandon Davies and Stefano Tonut, while they re-signed Kyle Hines to a new contract for the 2022-23 season.

“Olimpia Milano wishes all the possible best for his future to Troy Daniels and wants to thank him for the professionalism showed during the course of the one season that we spent together,” the statement reads.

The Italian club has also announced the departure of shooting guard Trey Kell, who had a limited role in the team due to injuries. The American guard moved from Varese to Milan last January.
