Nikola Jokic headlines the preliminary roster of Serbia for the 2022 FIBA EuroBasket in September (1-18).
The back-to-back NBA MVP returns to the national team after the 2019 Basketball World Cup and aims to lead Serbia to the gold medal.
Aside from Nikola Jokic, fellow NBA players Nemanja Bjelica, Aleksej Pokusevski and Nikola Jovic are also part of the roster. Back-to-back EuroLeague champion Vasilije Micic has joined the team as well.

The 22-man preliminary roster of Serbia is as follows:
Aleksa Avramovic, Nemanja Bjelica, Dejan Davidovac, Ognjen Dobric, Marko Guduric, Marko Jagodic-Kuriza, Ognjen Jaramaz, Nikola Jokic, Nikola Jovic, Nikola Kalinic, Balsa Koprivica, Vladimir Lucic, Vanja Marinkovic, Vasilije Micic , Nikola Milutinov, Nemanja Nedovic, Aleksej Pokusevski, Filip Petrusev, Dusan Ristić, Borisa Simanić, Alen Smailagic and Milos Teodosic.
Serbia will take on Greece (August 25) and Turkey (August 28) in the first two games of the second round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers.
They will then travel to Prague for the group stage of the EuroBasket. They will face the Netherlands, Finland, Poland, Israel and the Czech Republic in Group D.
