Nicolas Laprovittola was unstoppable offensively and led Barcelona to the 81-72 win in Game 5 of the EuroLeague playoffs.
The Argentinian guard led all scorers with 26 points, on 7/12 shooting and 5/7 from beyond the arc. Nikola Mirotic added 20 points for the winners.
Othello Hunter and Ognjen Jaramaz were the top scorers for the losing squad, with 18 and 17 points, respectively.
Bayern was in control in the first half and led by six at halftime (31-37). The “Blaugrana” turned things around, though, and never looked back.
With an excellent offensive performance, they outscored the Bavarians 29-15 in the third quarter and took the lead (60-52). The visitors never recovered after that and got eliminated.
Barcelona advanced to the Final Four and will now collide with rivals Real Madrid in the semifinal.
