Nate Wolters officially joins Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos completed another transaction this offseason by adding veteran point guard Nate Wolters, the club announced. Wolters, 31, spent the previous season with Crvena Zvezda, which won the ABA League.

In 31 EuroLeague appearances, Wolters averaged 10.9 points, 3.6 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game in his fourth season in the EuroLeague. He helped the Serbian powerhouse won the ABA League putting up 8.4 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.4 rebounds.

Wolters also has experience in the NBA being a second round pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. He played in the Milwaukee Bucks for two seasons and then continued his career in Europe joining the likes of UNICS Kazan ,Zalgiris Kaunas and Maccabi among others.

The point guard from the United States became the fourth offseason signing for Pana. The Greek club is hoping to bounce back from a disappointing 2021-22 campaign in the EuroLeague and the Greek Basketball League.

The Greek giants recently added Marius Grigonis from CSKA Moscow, while they also signed Paris Lee from Monaco and Panagiotis Kalaitzakis from Lietkabetis.
