Milan erased a 15-point half-time deficit to secure a 77-83 win over reigning champions Anadolu Efes for EuroLeague round 32.
The Italian club opened the second half with a 2-14 run to close the gap, after Efes took a 51-36 lead at the intermission.
The hosts close the 3rd quarter on a high note as Hines scored inside to give Milan its first lead since the first minute, 61-62, through three quarters.
During the last quarter of the contest, the two sides exchange threes with Micic and Delaney before the visitors close the last five minutes strong.
Milan made a 4-12 run and took a 74-81 lead with 34 seconds remaining for the end of the contest as Melli hit a clutch jumper to put the game away.
“They played with personality, they played excellent defense in the second half, but more importantly, they moved the ball unselfishly on offense and everybody contributed,” Milan coach Ettore Messina said on his players.
MVP: Micic (27 pts, 5 ast) points had a hell of a game, but Sergio Rodriguez was the man of the hour for the winning side with 12 points and eight assists.
Key of the Game: The third quarter was key for Milan as they outscored Efes 10-26 to take its first lead since the first minute of the game.
The 14-12 Anadolu Efes will remain at home for round 33 facing ALBA Berlin in an important game for the Turkish club. Milan will host AS Monaco in after improving to 18-8.
