Jordan Loyd became the newest member of AS Monaco roster, as the club announced earlier on Saturday. The sharpshooting guard signed a two-year deal with the Pro A powerhouse, which reach the EuroLeague playoffs for the first time last season.
Loyd is coming off a successful season with Zenit, where the guard won the VTB League title against CSKA Moscow, after being down 3-1 in the series. He was also part of the Toronto Raptors’ team, which won the 2019 NBA title.

Loyd appeared in 11 games with the Raptors that season. The Atlanta native joined Valencia Basket next season in his first experience overseas. He joined Crvena Zvezda under head coach Sasa Obradovic in 2020.
The two will be reunited in Monaco. Jordan Loyd joined the ranks of Zenit last year, with whom he made great performances in the EuroLeague with averages of 13.2 pts, 4.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
Loyd will join Mike James and Elie Okobo in the AS Monaco Basket backcourt during the EuroLeague 2022-23 season campaign.
