Hassan Martin is joining Crvena Zvezda as the third signing of the offseason after Nemanja Nedovic. The former Olympiacos Piraeus center agreed with the Serbian club on a two-year deal, the team announced.
The 26-year-old American big man averaged 5.5 points and 3.0 rebounds with the Reds in the EuroLeague. He spent the last two seasons with Greek Basket League powerhouse. He won both the Greek League and the Greek Cup in 2022.
It’s the fourth season in the European level for Martin, who also played for Medi Bayreuth and Buducnost VOLI. His best game of his career came against Zalgiris where he scored 13 points, grabbed seven rebounds, dished out three assists.
Martin will be added to a veteran front-court rotation that includes Ognjen Kuzmic. The Serbian powerhouse added Nemanja Nedovic and prospect Filip Radakovic, who was part of the junior team before signing his proffesional contract.
