FC Barcelona will not travel to Russia today for the EuroLeague Round 27 matchup against Zenit, the team announced earlier.
The Catalans announced that they will make the final decision tomorrow, after contacting various meetings with all the parties involved this afternoon.
Prior to this decision, Alex Abrines his unwillingness to travel to Russian soil amidst the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Per FC Barcelona:
“We inform you that, following the information that has appeared in the last hours about the war between Russia and Ukraine, FC Barcelona has decided not to travel to St. Petersburg today.
Various meetings with the parties involved are scheduled for this afternoon and a decision will be made in the next few hours.
Remember that the team has two matches on Russian soil, this Friday against Zenit St. Petersburg and this coming Sunday in Moscow, on the court of CSKA.”
