Dante Exum made a stellar performance vs Monaco on Thursday and won the MVP award for EuroLeague Round 28.
Exum went for 22 points, five rebounds, two assists, six fouls drawn and a PIR of 31 in 30 minutes. The Australian forward set new career highs in PIR, points and minutes played. FC Barcelona claimed the victory (88-83) and remained on top.
The 26-year-old forward has appeared in 12 EuroLeague games this season. Dante Exum joined FC Barcelona back in December, signing a three-month contract.
Because of his performance and injuries to key players, the Catalans re-signed him for the remainder of the season.
FC Barcelona leads the way in the competition, with a 21-5 record. They are very close to clinching their place in the playoffs as well as the home-court advantage.
Next week, Exum and the “Blaugrana” travel to Kaunas to face Zalgiris (March 11).
