FC Barcelona has extended the contract of Nicolas Laprovittola through 2026, the Catalans announced. With Nick Calathes close to exiting the Spanish giants, Barcelona has renewed their ties with the Argentinian guard.
He was a huge part of the team’s performance in the EuroLeague averaging 9.6 points on 44.0 percent three-point shooting and 3.1 assists in 38 EuroLeague games last season. Laprovittola had one year remaining in his previous deal.

With 109 Euroleague games under his belt, Laprovittola has been a constant contributor in several EuroLeague teams, including Baskonia and Real Madrid. Barcelona has already added four new faces ahead of the 2022-23 season.
They signed Jan Vesely from Fenerbache, while they added Nikola Kalinic from Crvena Zvezda and Oscar Da Silva from ALBA Berlin. Their crowned jewel of the offseason is obviously the return of Tomas Satoransky, who played in the NBA the last six years.
