Olympiacos and Tyler Dorsey are in talks for a contract extension, Konstantinos Melayess of Gazzetta.gr reports.
Per the report, the two sides have been negotiating the terms of the deal over the past couple of days and are close to an agreement. If the “Reds” agree to a deal with the Greek-American guard, that will be for two years (1+1).
Tyler Dorsey was planning to move to the NBA, however it seems he has now changed his mind and prefers to stay with Olympiacos.
Dorsey, who holds a Greek passport, was a starter in all 75 games the “Reds” played in all competitions this season. He averaged 12.8 points in the EuroLeague, where the Greek giants reached the Final Four for the first time since 2017.
At the same time, he helped Olympiacos sweep the Greek League Finals vs Panathinaikos and claim the Greek Cup back in February.
