EuroLeague rumors: Fenerbahce close to signing Nick Calathes, Nigel Hayes-Davis

Fenerbahce is close to signing star guard Nick Calathes and forward Nigel Hayes-Davis, according to Home of Glory.

Per the report, the Turkish powerhouse is in advanced talks with both players and is close to reaching an agreement with them. Both players spent the previous season with Barcelona, but will not remain with the Catalans.

Nigel Hayes-Davis, who averaged 4.1 points and 2.1 rebounds in the EuroLeague last season, has already left the “Blaugrana” and is a free agent.

On the other hand, Calathes is negotiating a buyout with Barcelona and will soon become a free agent too. Once this happens, he will be able to join Fenerbahce. The Greek star guard also had a lucrative offer from Panathinaikos, but it seems he has turned it down.
