EuroLeague Round 29 MVP: Maodo Lo, ALBA Berlin

Maodo Lo was near-unstoppable in leading ALBA Berlin to a resounding 90-75 win over Olympiacos Piraeus on Thursday night.

Lo scored a career-high 27 points, making 5-of-6 two-pointers and 5-of-6 three-pointers. He tied his season-high with 7 assists, along with 5 rebounds and 1 steal.

His career-high performance index rating of 34 topped all players in Round 29. As a result, he won the EuroLeague Round 29 MVP award. This has been the first MVP of the Round award for Maodo Lo.

This was the fourth straight win for ALBA Berlin, which improved to 11-16. Under the new standings, though, and without the Russian teams, ALBA is just two wins away from the playoffs (9-12). Next week, ALBA travels to Vitoria-Gasteiz to take on Baskonia (March 18).
