EuroLeague postponing Bayern Munich’s game against CSKA

FC Bayern Munich has reportedly asked EuroLeague to postpone tonight’s game against CSKA Moscow. Robert Heusel was the first to report the news.

The German television is not expected to broadcast Thursday’s game. At the same time, EuroLeague announced earlier that they will not be any changes in the calendar of the competition in the light of the events taking place in Ukraine.

According to Heusel, CSKA is in Munich and both teams prepared “normally” to play the game. Bayern is one of various teams to ask the EuroLeague to assess the situation regarding the games of the Russian clubs.

FC Barcelona has postponed its trip to Russia in the light of the events in Ukraine. FC Barcelona is scheduled to face Zenit St. Petersburg on Friday. They also set to face CSKA in Moscow on Sunday.
