Ettore Messina shared his confidence about Armani Milano’s chances to sign Kevin Pangos, who is under contract with CSKA Moscow.
Even though the Canadian guard and the Italians have agreed to a deal, Pangos has not officially parted ways with the Muscovites yet.
“We are watching, but we are very confident,” the head coach and president of Armani Milano told reporters on Friday, via Basketnews.
Kevin Pangos signed a contract with CSKA back in February, but never played for the club. As a result of the Russia-Ukraine war, the EuroLeague withdrew CSKA’s participation from the competition.
For its part, Armani Milano has bolstered its roster and aims to return to the EuroLeague Final Four next season. So far, they have signed Stefano Tonut, Billy Baron, Naz Mitrou-Long and Brandon Davies.
