Dante Exum is set to remain with FC Barcelona for the remainder of the season. The Australian forward initially signed a three-month contract with the Catalans back in December.

As Marc Mundet of RAC1 reports, the two sides have agreed to a contract extension until the summer.

With Corry Higgins missing the next three months with foot injury, the “Blaugrana” have decided to keep Exum. The 26-year-old forward has appeared in 11 EuroLeaue games with FC Barcelona. He is averaging six points, 2.7 rebounds and one assist in 17 minutes of action.

The Catalans lead the way in the EuroLeague standings with a 20-5 record. They have almost clinched their spot in the playoffs and are close to securing the home-court advantage.

On Thursday, they will host Monaco, aiming to extend their winning streak in the EuroLeague to five games.
