Bayern Munich and CSKA Moscow will clash at “Audi Dome” in a high-stakes EuroLegue game. Both teams are not at their best at this point of the season. A win is necessary both for the Germans and the Russians.
The hosts, who have climbed higher in the standings lately, want to make one more step closer to the playoff round. On the other hand, the guests want to get a little bit away from the 8th place and approach the home advantage positions.
Coming from two wins in a row in VTB League, CSKA wants to keep the tradition alive, as they have never lost in Munich! Really impressive! Naturally, Bayern wants to claim their first win against the “Army Team” at home! However, despite the Bavarian’s improvement, CSKA remains by far a better team.
It is no coincidence that in almost every statistical category, they outperform their opponent, except turnovers and three-point %, where Bayern is marginally better.
Considering their slightly elevated psychology, the “boost” after Pangos’ transfer (logically he will not play tonight) and the history between them (Bayern has won CSKA only once – in Moscow -), I think that a Russian win is the best choice, if we decide to bet in this game.

LOOKING FOR VICTORY – BALM!
After multiple blows to its selfishness and prestige, Real Madrid is literally looking for a victory that will heal its wounds. Having lost in the Copa Del Rey Final against Barcelona, which followed the home strap by the Catalans for the Euroleague, but also the defeat from Fenerbahce (in between there it had some victories for the Cup and the ACB), Real looks like a wounded beast that wants to prove why it stands on top of the Euroleague standings, against Zalgiris Kaunas at “Žalgirio Arena”.
At the same time, they want to end any talk of a home advantage in the playoffs. The Lithuanians are in their worst situation in recent years in the competition. Knowing that they don’t have a small chance to finish in the first eight positions, they are just looking for prestige victories, trying to avoid the last place of the tournament standings.
But, Zalgiris has to deal with a clearly better team, which also has the prehistory with its part. Zalgiris has achieved only 3 wins against the Spanish club, 2 at home, in a total of 12 matches. I think it’s obvious that “the Whites” prevail in every statistical category, except turnovers and free-throw %.
So, if I choose to bet here, I will consider the motivation and the quality of both teams and Real has a lead on both. I think that a Spanish win with a handicap cover of 5.5 points, could be really possible. According to betting companies, we can find this choice in an odd around 1.50.
