Cory Higgins is set to make his long-awaited return to the coming games of FC Barcelona, the club announced.
The Catalans have a scheduled away game against Rio Breogan for the ACB. With a win, they will secure the top spot of the standings in the regular season.
The 32-year-old Higgins was rehabbing after a chronic plantar fasciitis surgery he had on February 14.
He will have the chance to pick up the pace in the upcoming three ACB games prior to the EuroLeague Final-Four, which will take place between May 19-21.
Prior to his foot problem, the veteran guard was out for two months because of a low back pain. Higgins averaged 9.2 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per 22 minutes in 13 EuroLeague games this season.
