Barcelona rallied past Olympiacos in the Third-Place Game (84-74) and finished third in the EuroLeague.
The Catalans were in control after the first quarter and led by as many as 15 in the contest. The “Reds” attepted a comeback in the fourth and cut the deficit to three (68-65). Yet, Barcelona made some key plays in crunch time and sealed the deal.
Nikola Mirotic led four Barcelona players in double digits with 19 points. On the other hand, Sasha Vezenkov posted a doule-double for the losing squad, with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Kostas Sloukas added 14 points and 7 assists.
Olympiacos and team captain Giorgos Printezis received a standing ovation from 12K fans of the club that were in attendance at Stark Arena.
