Armani Milano star Luigi Datome out 3 weeks with knee injury

Armani Milano has ruled out star forward Luigi Datome for the next three weeks, because of a knee injury.
The Italian forward got injured a few days ago and underwent surgery to repair the damage in his left knee.
“Gigi Datome underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee for the removal of a bone fragment, following a trauma reported during the first quarter of the Sassari game. The player will be re-evaluated in three weeks,” Armani Milano announced on Tuesday.

Datome will miss at least the first two games of the playoff series, which tip off on Tuesday, April 19. Armani Milano has clinched the home-court advantage in the postseason.
In 24 EuroLeague games this season, Luigi Datome has averaged 6.7 points (on 40% three-point shooting) and 1.5 rebounds.
