Armani Milano stands tall vs Efes to tie series

Armani Milano claimed a hard-fought victory over Anadolu Efes (73-66) to even the EuroLeague playoff series (1-1).

In a late thriller that was decided in the final seconds, the Italians closed the game on a 6-0 run to seal the deal.

Shavon Shields (21 points) and Sergio Rodriguez (17 points) combined for 38 points for Armani Milano.

On the contrary, Shane Larkin and Vasilije Micic scored 19 and 18 points, respectively, for the losing squad.

The series is now tied (1-1). Games 3 and 4 will take place in Istanbul next week. Whoever wins both matchups will advance to the Final Four. If the reigning champions win Game 3, they will re-claim the home-court advantage.
