Ante Zizic is set to join back-to-back EuroLeague champions Anadolu Efes after parting ways with Maccabi Tel-Aviv.
On Tuesday, the Israeli powerhouse announced the departure of the Croatian big man, who has officially become a free agent. Zizic is expected to sign with Efes in the coming days.

The 25-year-old center spent the previous two seasons with Maccabi and averaged 12.2 points and five rebounds in the EuroLeague last year. Zizic helped Maccabi return to the playoffs, but his team lost to Real Madrid (3-0).
The Israelis also found the big man’s replacement, as they announced their deal with Alex Poythress. At the same time, Efes is making changes to its roster as well and have already signed star forward Will Clyburn.
