Anadolu Efes has extended Bugrahan Tuncer adding two more years in his current deal, the team announced earlier. Tuncer, 29, joined Efes back in 2018 and helped the team win the back-to-back Euroleague championship, two Turkish championships and one Turkish Cup.
Tuncer has a more prominent role in the Turkish BSL averaging around 20 minutes per game. He has been logging around five minutes per game in the EuroLeague. He registered 1.3 points per contest this season.
He appeared in 10 games during the 2021-22 season in the EuroLeague. He’s been averaging 7.4 points, 3.4 assists and two rebounds over 46 games this season between EuroLeague and the domestic competitions.
Efes has already shown they’re working towards improving the team ahead of the 2022-23 season. They hope to be able to win their third title in three years after becoming EuroLeague back-to-back champions.
In any case, they will hope to keep their talent and build the chemistry ahead of the next season. Obviously, Tuncer is part of that future, as Efes is already battling for the domestic title in the Turkish BSL playoffs.
