Anadolu Efes has signed big Amath M’Baye to a two-year contract, the back-to-back EuroLeague champions announced Thursday. M’Baye will be the fourth signing for Efes this offseason.
The Turkish powerhouse has agreed to a two-year deal with big man Amath M’Baye. M’Baye spent the past three seasons with Karsiyaka and averaged 15.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists this season.
The former Olimpia Milan and Virtus Bologna player will join the EuroLeague powerhouse on a 1+1 deal as the team confirmed in its announcement.
M’Baye has Euroleague experience from the 2017-18 season when he logged 30 games in the competition with Olimpia Milano.
He won the 2019/20 Basketball Champions League before moving to Karsiyaka, where he stayed for three seasons.
The Turkish powerhouse has already added star power ahead of the 2022-23 campaign with Will Clyburn and Ante Zizic, while they also signed Erten Gazi and now M’ Baye.
