Alec Peters joined Olympiacos this offseason and expects the “Reds” to be a EuroLeague Final Four contender next season.
The 27-year-old power forward is confident about the team’s potential and also considers the Greek giants a title contender.
“Coach Georgios Bartzokas and the club have full confidence in the team’s potential and we will try to build on the success they achieved last season. We have a great squad, with very experienced players, and the core of last season continues, which is very important. We will surely be in contention for the Final Four, and why not dream of winning the Euroleague?” Alec Peters told Noticias de Álava.
Aside from Peters, Olympiacos also signed Isaiah Canaan, Joel Bolomboy and Tarik Black, completing its main roster for the coming season.
The “Reds” hope to go all the way for a second straight season and expect Alec Peters to be an upgrade to the power forward position, if healthy.
