ALBA Berlin maintained a 40-minute effort during the game vs Crvena Zvezda to win (74-70) for EuroLeague Round 32.
ALBA had the lead for the majority of the night and used two huge offensive rebounds in the last two minutes of the game to clinch its 10th victory in the competition.
Zvezda dropped its second consecutive game in the EuroLeague. ALBA improved to 10-14 in the standings, while Zvezda now holds an 11-14 record, with both teams trailing behind the eighth-placed AS Monaco.
Maodo Lo had a game-high 22 points for the winning side, while Jaleen Smith put up 17 and Luke Sikma added 13 points and nine rebounds.
Zvezda saw Nate Wolters leading the team efforts with 18 points followed by Nikola Kalinic with 13 and Ognjen Dobric, who scored 12.
The Berliners took a 72-67 lead with under two minutes left in regulation to put away the game and earn a well-deserved win.
ALBA shot 40 percent from beyond the arc and had 13 offensive rebounds over Zvezda. The Serbian club had 26 rebounds all game.
